Invitation to Book Launch: Anagnorisis



"Anagnorisis" is the Greek word for awakening or recognition. The literary pieces form the youth's recognition of peace, and their role in building it.

GenPeace invites you to the launching of its publication, Anagnorisis: An Anthology of Poetry and Prose on Peace. The launch will be on the 24th of January, 3PM at the Bantayog ng mga Bayani, Quezon City.  Limited copies of the book will be distributed for free. The event will also showcase the artworks of young artists, and marks the 20th Anniversary of the Gaston Z. Ortigas Peace Institute.

Anagnorisis is a collection of the diverse perspectives of the young generation on the notion of peace. Contributions range from poems, short stories, essays, artworks and photographs. The literary pieces are written in English and Filipino.

This publication is part of the Peace Day Project of GenPeace in partnership with the UNDP-CPPB.
