1. The Peace Mosaic Project

The Peace Mosaic is a collaborative project of youth-led and youth-focused groups and individuals that advocate PEACE. More than one hundred tiles will be given out to organizations, communities and individuals. These tiles will then be personally designed by each group/person so that it symbolically represents their local and personal contexts of conflict and peace.

2. Kwentong Kapayapaan

The stories of the communities/organizations/individuals will be featured in a documentary to highlight the different conflict contexts in the country as well as the different aspirations for peace. Some themes for the stories include: communities in the warzone, youth living in evacuation centers, Muslim, Christian and Indigenous Youth’s take on peace and success stories of youth in peacebuilding.

3. Peace Day Event

GenPeace will spearhead the celebration for the International Day of Peace (September 21). During this day, GenPeace will have the following:

a) Presentation of a video on the Peace Day Project

b) Installation of the 100 Peace Tiles

c) Cultural Presentations from different schools and a mini-concert

d) Narration of some peace stories (coming from Kwentong Kapayapaan)
