I have uploaded the Mindanao Week of Peace 09 Calendar. It's a tentative list of things that the Mindanao Solidarity Network planned. If you or your organizational partners are doing something for Minda Week of Peace, do let us know. Thanks.

My name is Ginger Martin. I started a crime prevention business called MO/PEACE two years ago. I would like to present a 10 minuet in-service to you, and your co-workers at your next staff meeting. This is an opportunity for us to network and for you to learn more about MO/PEACE, Conflict Resolution and Anger Management. I have worked previously for many non-profit Community Based Organizations like Glide, SAGE, Haight Ashbury Free Clinics Inc., the Safety Network Program, Baker Places, and Walden House. I have developed a uniquely original and innovative training manual that I believe addresses interpersonal conflicts with a fresh perspective. I believe there are healthier ways to communicate that can reduce our negative responses to anger and conflict. Therefore reduce personal trauma, family deterioration and recidivism inherent to incarceration. I believe that I have a unique talent that allows me to reach diverse populations and empower individuals. My personal story and my enthusiasm related to recovery and development are infectious. Please contact me to set up an in-service at your convenience.
I believe that it is our entire community that is in need of conflict resolution so as not to perpetuate the chain of abuse inherent in unhealthy problem solving, conflict, community deterioration and domestic violence. A harmful emotional reaction to problem solving can affect everyone who is in contact with unhealthy coping skills. The first concern in violent crime and abuse is for the victim’s safety and protection. After which Treatment for all survivors of trauma, abuse, and violence is crucial so that each one can process their own personal experience, become more self aware, and start to repair the effects. Conflict in the workplace can escalate costs pertaining to rehiring and retraining. I am offering Seminars, Training and Consultations to anyone who wants to learn Anger Management techniques, Conflict Resolution skills, and communication methodology. I offer my services to anyone affected by trauma, who wants to address unhealthy relationships, has experienced conflict issues and or domestic violence. These intensive informative trainings concentrate on anger management tools.
Through these trainings participants gain knowledge, take personal responsibility, create a network of tools to break the chain of unhealthy problem solving, and learn how to renovate their communication process. I can bring my trainings to a variety of individuals, businesses, management, employees, groups, non-profit services, staff, clients, schools, teachers, and students.
I have been working in the field of Conflict Resolution for over 18 years, First as a survivor of domestic violence and then as a facilitator of Anger Management workshops. I personally developed a hands-on help line for emergency crisis calls specifically for women, anger, and abuse issues, housed out of my home. I then began an intensive journey of educating myself, collaborating with local non-profits, City Government, San Francisco Police, Community Courts and more recently Juvenile Hall. I have for the past several years taught as a guest speaker at San Francisco’s City College for the Prerequisite Alcohol and Drug Counselors Certificate program.
If you are interested in my services, please feel free to contact me. I excel giving trainings to large diverse groups and I can meet with an individual for a private confidential consultation. I also can make suggestions, referrals and write letters to the courts regarding legal matters. I personally believe that information is power and that I have a lot to offer.
